Earl A. Sixberry, Sr., 79, of Palermo, died Oct. 21, 2009.
Born May 8, 1930 in Pierrepont Manor, he had lived in Palermo most of his life. Mr. Sixberry was a stockcar driver on local dirt tracks. He owned and operated Sixberry’s Garage for 18 years in the Town of Palermo. His hobbies were bowling and NASCAR racing.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Beverly Albee Sixberry; daughters, Earlene (Rick) Boutell, Darlene (Ron) Rice, and Valerie Clark; sons, Earl (Carol) Sixberry Jr., Randy (Julie) Sixberry, and Ronnie Sixberry; sisters, Ruth Shannon, Alice Race, and Mildred Clark; brother, Vernon (Dolly) Sixberry; half sisters, Clara Pillians and Robin Hansen; 15 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Foster Funeral Home, Fulton. Calling hours were held Friday at the funeral home.
