07-22-2009

Saturday night at Fulton Speedway, two drivers put their names in the record books as first-time winners. Former Pro Stock champion Billy Clark Jr. took top honors in the 20-lap DIRTcar Sportsman feature, while Mark Johnston landed in victory lane in the 15-lap E&V Energy Novice Sportsman main.

Other winners were Rusty Marsden in the 20-lap DIRTcar Street Stocks and Bruce Unger in the 25-lap Gladiator feature.

On the restart, Alan Fink bolted to the race lead as he was chased by Bennett, Jon Tesoriero, and Joe Gwilt. With five laps in the books, Fink still led with Bennett, Rich Townsend, Tesoriero and Billy Clark Jr. showing on the leader board.
